At Imbokodo, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please review the following terms:

Returns & Exchanges

Returns or exchange requests for unused items or change-of-mind purchases must be made within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.

Faulty, defective, or damaged products may be returned within 6 months of purchase in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

To qualify for a return or exchange, the item must:

  • Be unused and in its original condition
  • Be returned in the original packaging
  • Include proof of purchase or payment confirmation

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

Once the above conditions are met, we will gladly process an exchange or refund for the full purchase amount. Courier fees may apply depending on the reason for the return.

Refund Process

Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return requirements. We will notify you via email whether your return has been approved or declined.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a few business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not yet received your refund:

  1. Please first check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company or payment provider, as processing times may vary
  3. Contact your bank, as refunds can sometimes take time to reflect

Exchanges for Incorrect or Damaged Items

If you received the wrong item, colour, or a defective/damaged product, Imbokodo will cover the courier costs for the exchange.

If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item. Once the return has been received and approved, a gift voucher will be issued.

Return Shipping

To arrange a return, please contact us at info@imbokodo.co.za. We will assist in arranging the collection of the item.

Collection fees may apply depending on your location and the reason for the return. Any applicable costs will be confirmed before collection is arranged.
